What data we collect
When you request a quote, order a sample, or contact us through the forms on this site, we collect the information you provide: your name, company name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, destination market, and the product specifications and quantities in your enquiry. When you message us on WhatsApp, we receive the profile information and message content you send through that service.
Like most websites, our server logs standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use this information to operate and secure the site, and in aggregate form to understand which pages and products buyers find useful.
Cookies
This site uses cookies to remember your session and your preferences (for example, items in a quote request). We also use analytics cookies that help us measure page visits and traffic sources. You can set your browser to block or alert you about cookies; some site features may not work correctly if you do.
How we use your data
We use enquiry data to prepare quotations, process sample and production orders, arrange shipping, and answer your questions. We use technical and analytics data to run, secure and improve the site. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers that help us operate the site and fulfil orders (for example, our hosting provider, email and courier services), and where we are required to do so by law.
How long we keep it
We keep quotation and order records for as long as needed for accounting, warranty and customs purposes, and marketing correspondence until you ask us to stop contacting you. Server logs are kept for a limited period.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw any consent you have given us. To do so, email sale@thimaxopto.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or our services change. The updated version will always be posted on this page.
